As we’ve said our products can do wonderful things for your skin as far as cleansing, toning, moisturising and exfoliating go but you should also look to the products you use for other things. Choose the kindest, natural products you can find for make-up, hair and body etc.. Mineral make-up is great for sensitive skin but look for a range that doesn’t contain talc or any potentially irritating ingredients. Also make sure that your make-up has your required Sun Protection Factor - our Violet Renaissance day cream boasts shea butter, sesame and raspberry oils which all have good sun-screen properties but we definitely recommend wearing something with an SPF on top.


Postage, packing and stuff…  

We endeavour to make our packaging as eco-friendly as possible. The jars are made from polypropane PP and the bottles from PETG  which in their creation and disintegration are less detrimental to the environment. Please check with your local authorities if they will accept the empties for recycling. All of our other packaging is completely recyclable  and compostable – including our ‘green’ bubble wrap.

We hate over the top carriage charges especially if the details aren’t made clear until the checkout stage. We’re very up front about ours: we charge £2 for up to two items; £4 for three to four and carriage is completely free if you buy five or more items. If you only want a bamboo mitt or two we only charge £1.
